I might be confusing it with the moonstone mine, but I feel like someone said copper. I haven't been in there yet, Mathayo says it is separate from the trail. Mathayo photos are from a different journey, he had to cover the shop the day we climbed. How much training did you do beforehand? I see M in the photo - did he and others go as well? And is the mine your describing different than the Moonstone mine visible in town? Pretty cool find if it is another. And it sounds like the fires have started again - they happen every season. Pretty sad.
